our Halloween decorations minus our newly made pumpkin:

savanna and Kacie decorations!

Savanna made us a "Grissom" flag!! so cute! thanks banana!

Thatcher homecoming Parade! I totally love this sort of stuff! The more I live here the more I love it and appreciate the little things that little towns do!(and yes mom I did cheer really loud while Brandon shied away with embarrassment) you'd be so proud of me mom!

another float! the parade had floats for the 10, 20, 30, and 40 year reunions. this one they had their kids in a bobcat and it moved up and down and they totally moved it way to low and it totally scrapped the bottom and jarred them up a bit! one of the mom's that were walking next to it was totally freaking out! it was mildly funny/ scary!

AUCITON

Brandon and I stumbled upon EAC auction site the day before the auction so we decided to scoped out some sweet stuff! We really needed a lawn mower and a printer if we can get it for cheap. neither of us had ever been to an auction so we were pretty excited about it!
the auctioneer guy road around in this, as he announced the items: he had a great accent! and surprisingly we could understand him after a while of listening to him.

Here are the people that showed up for the auction! There were some really interesting people there! Brandon and I were loving every minute of it!
Here is us waiting for our items to go up for auction! and our card number! sweet 209!
Here is what we came out with!
printer: $15- needs ink
office floor mat: $5- needs to be cleaned
John deer, lawn mower: $45- needs gas
Day at the Auction: priceless!
Here is Brandon mowing our lawn for the first time!! oh and check out how well the grass came in!! some patches but hey it's green and soft and we are loving it!

Oh and Brandon priced out the lawn mower on line and found that a brand new one would cost $500!! so dang!! thank you EAC Auction!

Kids at our house!

Savanna and Michael wanted to take pictures with this wagon so they climb in.
they loved the swings!

Grace was so interested in that goose!

this is goosie! Kacie named him that, and yes she is petting it. He came right over and kept dunking his head next to us and we would stick out our hands and it let us pet it.
here they are again.

grace and i just watching the kids pet the swan thing.

feeding all the ducks! the kids loved it!

So My sister and her kids stayed at my house for their fall break! It was so fun! Brandon and I thought our house was kid friendly but we found out fast when they got here that it wasn't so much. That's okay we made some adjustments and they had fun! We went to Discovery Park, and the duck ponds, saw cotton being picked and packed down, and the kids picked their own cotton. Brandon introduced them to Water Depot snow cones, and just had fun hanging out together! It was such a great week! Denise taught me how to make different meals, and this kids found "treasures" in the empty lots around! Thank you so much for coming we totally loved it! here are some pictures at the duck ponds!
And I'm having a hard time with the format and stuff...
