Here is our little news letter for 2013!

 

So much has happened this last year, it has been amazing and we have truly been so blessed and are so THANKFUL for everything!

 

The biggest news of all is

WE MOVED TO MESA!!

We put an offer on a house and moved in about a month later! It was amazing! We truly LOVE our new house! It needs some updates, but nothing major. It has a HUGE front window, with which I LOVE, and a sweet tree house in the back(Brandon calls it his duck blind, Thank you Duck Dynasty). We love it and love most that we are so close to family! We still miss our Safford family/friends/neighbors and I don't think that will ever go away. Before we moved Our Keisha peeps had a BBQ for us, one last time before we moved and it was perfect and so fun! They were the perfect family away from family and I we love them so very much for that!

 

Brandon-

Has really enjoyed working for Graham County but in May started the interview process and after a couple of ups and downs he was able to get a job in MESA! Our goal ever since we have been married was to move to Mesa, and it finally happened! He is currently LOVING his new job!

 

Heather-

I have loved being a mom! It has been so much fun. This last year has been eventful for me as well with jobs. After I had Braxton I went back to work at the hospital in Safford, only working 3-5 shifts a month. It was the perfect job and I could work around Brandon's schedule. In May another opportunity came up to work for Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center, and prep patients for cataract surgery. It has been so fun and I only work there 2-3 days a month. It has even been more great because they have let me transfer to the valley and work for them here.

 

Braxton-

I think he has had the MOST change! He has gone from crawling to running, has a mouth full of teeth, eats just about everything, says a few words, and animal sounds, is so happy, and has the

 CUTEST CURLS! He loves to be outside ALL the time, and loves to play on anything that has a steering wheel, especially our Artic Cat. My favorite animal sound that he makes right now is "What does the cow say?" and he replies "VVVvvvvvvVVV" Grandma Treats some how taught him that! He also loves guns, and does a great gun noise when he carries his nerf gun around.

 

Keisha-(our Dog)

We kicked her out of the house and made her an outside only dog, she didn't take it well, and at our Safford house learned to jump the fence. BUT in our Mesa house the walls are taller and she LOVES the backyard! She has loved being here in Mesa, and has really been a good dog!

 

 

We have been truly blessed and are so Thankful! Merry Christmas!

 

 

Oh yes and did I mention we have

ORANGE TREES!!

AND they are

DELICIOUS!

9, & 10 Months

9 Months

 Standing up all by himself!! Walks along the furniture, Loves food! Sleeping better but doesn't sleep through the night! Loves everybody and everyone! loves going outside, doesn't love the grass so much. . .and would love to be in the hose, or baby pool all the time. Says Mama and Dadda.

10 Months 

Taking steps EVERYWHERE, but not quiet walking yet. He actually walks best with a mop, broom, or golf club in his hand! He can bear crawl faster then walking. He can turn and walk in a different direction. He now has some stranger danger, but is just nervous and not so outgoing around strangers. Doesn't like to be handed things (kind of like Iron man) Sleeps through the night (finally) and screams a lot just to scream, loves water still, and new favorite movie is The Lorax. He loves other kids and wants to be around them all the time. We love him so much! and has changed out life for the greater!

Random happenings Aprilish

I opened the dishwasher and found this! 

My husband is so good and making sure EVERYTHING fits!

 For My birthday Brandon got us tickets for WICKED!! It was amazing! It was our first time being away from Braxton for that long! He did great with our neighbors! and we had a fabulous time!

 Braxton has a new cousin, baby Jane! and she is adorable!

 Yes this is Braxtons first BATH in the BATH TUB! It was at Grandma Treats house and he LOVES them! He has been getting sink baths before this, but he loves water!

 Braxton's first and last time on the quad before we sold it! He LOVED sitting on it! I mean check out that face!

Months 7 & 8!!

7 MONTHS! CRAWLING CRAWLING AND MORE CRAWLING! 

He does not like baby food!

Still love Mickey Mouse Club house!

Only gets up once a night now! 

loves laughing at Keisha!

Stands up on lots of things!

Loves naps in the love sac!

loves cuddling with his mama!

Loves walks/runs in the stroller!

8 MONTHS!! And getting into EVERYTHING!

No cupboard is safe!

He has found the Kitchen pan cupboard, and the Wii cupboard!

I have to vacuum with lighting speed or he'll catch up with me!

Stink bug walks whenever he is on hard surfaces!

doesn't mind the grass! 

Loves being outside!

eats almost everything we eat!

gives the cheesiest/nose crinkle smile that you have ever seen!

Loves to laugh! and gets slap happy very easily!

Poops out almost every Sunday before church!

has really good balance when standing!

Will find any speck on your floor and attempt to eat it!

Loves reading books! 

loves bath time in the tub!

and loves loves loves water!

His first word is Mama!

New Beginnings & a cute baby!

This was back in the beginning of March

We got a package in the mail, and Braxton thought that it was the funnest thing to climb on and in! he loved it!!

AND 

He is CRAWLING!! Can you believe that?!!? 

AND

He is pulling himself up to a standing positions, but forgets 

to hold on and falls sometimes!

He also is crawling EVERYWHERE! It is so fun!! 

But lets just say I clean my floor a lot more now!

For New Beginings Our theme was "Wherefore Stand ye in holy Places and be not moved until the day of the Lord come, for behold he cometh quickly saith the Lord." So we did a Shoe theme! We had all the girls wear their favorite shoes, and made these! We had a blast making them! And the girls loved them!!

First 5K

Our hospital was having a health fair, and to kick it off they had a 5K run starting at the college! My friend Val B. invited me to walk with her do Braxton and I went!  I then invited Val Y. 8 months pregnant! We all finished and just about froze to death! Seriously it took me like 2 hours to warm up after! We had a blast!

Braxton did alright, he cried the last half mile, I think he was cold even though he was all bundled up!

 Super pregnant women!!! Seriously I want to be able to do this when I'm that far along! Goal for next time around(and NO I am not announcing anything)

Carl's Jr has come to the Gila Valley!! Here is our first time eating it here!! It was Delicious!

 My mom and Denise came up and they started this beauty and all I had to do was put it on something to hold it up!! But I am in LOVE, with it!!

 For the V-day we celebrated a few days early due to Brandon working that day. I gave him a shirt that says Happy

and He gave me a Cannon Camera!!!!!! Yes check the clarity of these pics!! AMAZING!!

 He LOVES LOVES LOVES his blanket!! Snuggling with it makes the world better!

HAPPY 6 MONTHS!!

 Check out those teeth!!

We started solids well rice cereal at the begining of Janurary and he LOVED IT! We kind of took a break and started giving him solids on a more regular basis this last week, and he doesn't like it is so much, like he makes gaging noises and sounds like he is going to throw up, it is quiet funny, I think that he just needs some more practice!

So the last post Braxton had 2 teeth on the bottom, well now he has ALL 4 TOP teeth coming in! Yes all at the same time! He is doing pretty well with them so far, so we'll see! 

In other news Brandon and I exchanged Valintines gifts early and he surpirsed me with a Nikon D3100 camera!!! HELLO AWESOME!! I'm so excited! My old camera was slow and low mega pixel! Oh my goodness I am in love with this camera! I will just take a million more pictures now!

I gave Brandon a not so awesome gift but he still liked it, it's a Duck Dynasty shirt that says "Happy happy happy" We have been kind of obsessed with that show! If you haven't seen it yet you NEED too!

CUPCAKES

So ever since my little sisters wedding (which they served cupcakes instead of cake) I have been obsessed with CUPCAKES! I want to make them, eat them, decorate them! and In comes Pinterest!  Here are a few cupcakes I've made! I got the recipes from yourcupofcake.com

Cinnamon toast crunch cup cake!!

These are suppose to be raspberry chocolate, but I had no raspberry anything, so it's strawberry chocolate frosting, with a devils food cupcake, with strawberry jelly on the inside!

In other news I am a year older! Brandon got me my very first Ice cream cake! Yum!! We went out to Denny's for a free Grand Slam, and went to the temple with the youth to do Baptisms for the dead, went to eat at the Copper Steer, then had a party with neighbors and friends and had cake! a perfect birthday! Oh and my present is a trip to Tucson to see WICKED!!

With Braxton chewing everything I decided to make a taggie toy, and found these little owl type thing. I found it on pinterest and made my own little twist of it! Braxton LOVES IT!
