Happy 3 years!

 We have been married for 3 years now and it 

has been the BEST three years of my life! I love all the fun adventures that we have been on and are going to go on. This year for our anniversary we  were apart. Brandon was working and I was in Mesa. So I sent Brandon a candy basket. It would have been flowers but my dad talked me out of that. (Brandon you need to thank my dad for that) and Brandon sent me Gorgeous flowers! We celebrated our anniversary the next week and went to Cheese Cake Factory!! YUMMY!! He also is going to give me Lasix eye surgery!! That was my present so when I am done breastfeeding we are going to get my eyes fixed!! THANKS LOVE! I was 38 weeks here.

And this is what happened to my Garden while I was in Mesa. . .  Yes it is all very green but pretty much ALL weeds. You can see what is left of my sunflower and tomato plants are in the back.

But Before it turned in to that we got these!

And after deweeding my garden we found 2 watermelons!

I love you Brandon! Thank you for being the BEST husband and Father! Seriously when I came home the whole house was clean and baby room ready! And he has been such a great help with Braxton!  I love you!

Braxton Alton Grissom

Braxton Alton Grissom 

was born 8/12/12 ( what a cool birth date)! He was 7 pounds 11 ounces 20 inches long and born at 3:56 AM! and we have been OBSESSED with him ever since! Seriously he is the cutest kid! And that is why you get this huge picture overload!!

 Seriously the cutest kid ever! and he is such a good baby!

He is currently 4 weeks old! We are so blessed to have this sweet baby boy in our lives and are so thankful for him.  

And in other news I got a new calling 1st counselor in Young Women's and I am so excited! And today was my first time going to church with just me and Braxton. We made it about 45 minutes into Sacrament wide awake the whole time and making noises and then he got too restless, and proceeded to chuck all over him and on my dress, so we spent the rest of the meeting in the foyer where Braxton then decided to fall asleep. The rest of the meetings went smoothly. I decided that he is just a noisy baby he is always cooing and just making noise to make noise. So This should be interesting.

I am 35 weeks here! The pictures are all done in the Gila Valley area. We had so much fun! Thanks again!

I just LOVE this guy!!  

So the Saturday after these were taken I started having back pain which ended up being contractions (like 1-2 min apart, contractions) I went in to the hospital and the Dr. said "No more working" and to "take it easy" and to drink LOTS of water among other things.  So we got the contractions under control, and baby Grissom is fine. But Brandon and I both decided instead of getting a helicopter ride to Tucson ( the exact opposite direction that I want to be going) that I come to Mesa, where my Dr is. So I have been taking it easy at my parents house. I will be making a day trip home for my baby shower, but other then that I am here until this baby comes!! And we can't be more excited to meet this little guy!

April FUN!

A group of friends all had work off and we planned a spur of the moment river trip in Pima! It was so much fun! Here is Brandon and Jacob. . .  yeah you can probably guess they got stuck a couple of times! 

We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again! 

I bought this for me for Christmas, and yes this is my first time getting it out. I have always wanted to learn how to sew things. With Pinterest around it has inspired me to learn! Can't wait to see what things I can make! These are my first stitches with my sewing machine!!

 

 Check out this nasty couch!! Some one slept here as a bed before Brandon and I got married, and it has  
always been gross to me. Thankfully Pinterest came around and I found a way to clean it! Here is the before and after! For directions go Here .

 

We decided to do a garden. And by "we" I mean me. And then Brandon just makes it happen! He built me this AMAZING fence!! And then I painted it! The garden is still new, and was planted in March.  I have lettuce, cucumbers, sweat peas, yellow squash, onions, okra, a sunflower, and tomatoes. It has been a learning process, and I have loved seeing things actually grow!

 My tomatoes are the best looking things out there!

 I have found an unwanted visitor snacking on my lettuce. He was quickly kicked out! Hopefully my lettuce wont have any other visitors!

My SWEAT PEAS finally are growing!!!

 I planted them back in January.... apparently the weather here is a little different then the valley. But hey better late then never!! They are so beautiful and smell so yummy!!!!

27 WEEKS

This little guy is a kicker!! and it is my new favorite thing to do is just watch him move my stomach, and randomly say in conversation "wow that was big kick!"

 Sometimes when we go to Walmart we see random melon things. This was the last one we tried. I cut it open and wanted to vomit! I don't even remember what it called, but IT STINKS!!

Alright here we are at 23 weeks!! This was a Sunday and was the first day Brandon got to feel the baby kick! It was really fun and special. The first time I realized he was kicking me was at work on Easter Sunday.

 It is so much fun feeling this little guy kick!

March FUN

My sister and her husband asked me about 5 months ago to babysit their kids while they go to Washington and their pioneer trek. So it was me and the kids for about 6 days! and we had FUN!! This was my first time seeing the Gilbert Temple! it was so fun they have this "visitor center" a trailer that has all the info about the temple and this area so you can watch the progress. It was really cool they had parts of the temple that were going to go up but had a chip in it or some kind of blemish so mashed it up and gave bits of "the temple" to the visitors. It was really neat!This is St. Patricks day of course we had to have green pancakes and milk!! the kids thought it was so weird!

This is our snow trip! of course to Lady bug peak! It was such a fun short little hike. I'm super out of shape ha ha but I'll just blame it on the altitude! Keisha loved it!!

I think this was the first time she's been in this much snow and she was just rolling in it!! Random pool of water on the mountain. I guess they were doing some "controlled burns"

This is my "pregnancy picture" I'm about 18 weeks here. And still getting nauseated, but it's lessening, I don't think I've really felt the baby kick but I am getting bigger and we are so excited! did I mention we are having a

BOY!!

This is the new toy!! Brandon is super excited! He got a smoken deal and now we have officially embraced the small town and drive it pretty much EVERYWHERE!! As you can we are shopping at Home Depot.

We have some awesome trails just 5 minutes away from our house! It's so fun, but I have decided that the black top roads are for me at this time. So he has been going out with friends, because I don't like him being out there by himself! Any excuse for him to go out he'll take it! So let him know!

I've also started a garden but I'll take more pictures when it looks more like a garden!
