February

So I was wanting to post something about February so I was looking at my camera, and the last Picture I took was of Brandon's cake from his graduation party. . .
Needless to say February flew by and because of work there was no time to do anything but work and sleep. . .
I Started working at another job which requires training full time, AND I was working 2 to 3 days a week at my other job so I was working like 5-6 days a week, and then my days off I slept! My amazing husband kept the house together and the fridge well stocked during this time! He is so GREAT!!

But It was really nice Because working that much kept my mind off of the nausea. The pregnancy is going well, we find out the gender on March 13!! and we are so excited! Clothes are starting to get tighter, which is alright because I mostly go from scrubs to PJ's anyways! :) I get up like 2-3 times a night to go to the bathroom, which makes it interesting being half a sleep and finding the toilet in a hurry! But we are enjoying all these new experiences! :)

Brandon started his new job and comes home and tells me how much he LOVES HIS JOB!! It's so fun to see him excited!

That's about all that's happened in February... March Brings new hope for rest, Orange blossoms, poppy flowers scattering the desert, spending time with my husband and many more fun things!!! I couldn't be more excited!

Big NEWS

You might have already heard but baby Grissom is coming in August!! WE are SO EXCITED!! This is how we told our families.

I had 2 of my sisters come with me because Brandon was still at the Academy!

Other exciting news with us is Brandon Graduated!! and is now done with Tucson and the academy!! here are few pics of the weekend fun events!!

Christmas 2011

WE had a SNOWNY Christmas Eve!!! Well mostly because we celebrated Christmas on December 23rd due to the fact that I got to work! So of course I made Brandon come out and play in it with me! Keisha even had fun in it!!

Our Christmas was so fun!! We celebrated it on Dec. 23rd due to fact that when you are then new guy in town you get to work the Holidays. . . or the whole weekend of the holidays. Which stinks but I'm glad that other works with kiddos were able to spend Christmas with them. So we had a Super Christmas Brandon got me an IPAD!!!! (I thought it was a gun the whole time, which I'm glad it wasn't) and Brandon got a gun!! We have been so blessed this year and are so Thankful for our blessing, our jobs, our friends, neighbors and family!

Palmer Thanksgiving weekend!!

The Palmer family traditional Thanksgiving dinner is not formal at all but very laid back and relaxing and just eat and hangout with famly and then graze some more then repeat, and repeat and repeat. But lets track back to how crazy this week is.

So I have been training at my new job and so to prevent from having to work Thanksgiving I did 3 twelve hours shift, Sunday off then 3 more twelve hour shifts. On Wednesday night after a full 14.5 hour day I drove to Tucson to pick up my husband. Oh did I mention that that was the same day that he got Peppered sprayed.... yeah so his eyes were not well.... So after picking him we proceeded to Mesa. We got there about 10:45 and Nate and Abby's flight came in, AND my little sister Katie and her friend were down from Utah! Did I mention the last time we all hung out was like... uh.... July? maybe? So what did we do? we ate SQUEAKY CHEESE and laughed and laughed, until 2:45...am... Talk about a LONG day!!

Thanksgiving DAY:

Was suppose to start at 6:30am for the 85201 Turkey Trot (they do this every year, anyone and everyone is welcome) yeah lets just say we showed up at 8 for the free pancakes that they serve after the race. Then we got ready for the ZOO. Yeah kind of weird but every year my family goes to the zoo. Denise makes the this cute old man that works at the zoo rolls (because he works every Thanksgiving) and my family gets in with the zoo pass! This year we took family pictures! it was a LOT of fun. Next on the tradition list, preparing "THE MEAL" Everybody helps and it gets done quick. Then we do buffet style!! first dinner was at 2pm and second dinner was at 5pm. Then after dinner we check out the deals and figure out who is going where. Last year we were a bit more crazy. We convinced Nate and Abby to come with us to Walmart at 1200. We split up and divided and conquered. It helps having a big husband for the hot items! We entered Walmart at 11:50 and were walking out at 12:07am!!

BLACK FRIDAY

Helped my dad with putting up the Christmas lights outside, which was fun because it was Katie and Nate and I. Then we played some volleyball at John's house!! It was SO FUN!! I haven't played in so long! It was so fun as we were playing I was looking at the team members and out of 12 of us playing we had 6 Plamers!! How fun is that! Our kids WILL PLAY VOLLEYBALL! That night we: Watched the lighting of the Zuber's house! They go ALL out and have a neighborhood party for it! so fun!

Then:

Ate at 5 Guys (oh my french fries) then off to Yodippity for some black Friday deal yogurt!! WE of course had to get Britt and her Hubby! And what is a fun night without some HAND AND FOOT action!!

Saturday:

WE went to BJ'S!! YUUUMMMMMYYYY!! This is minus a few siblings!!

And then what of course do you do after stuffing your face? Head over to Stratum and hit up a couple of games of laser tag!! ha ha SO SO SO SUPER FUN!!

We are Hard core!! Our team WON every game!! Mel give us a cheer "Give me an F" ha ha!!

More of October!!

Happy Baby shower for VAL!! We had a party for her and had some SUPER yummy food!! and I took NO pictures!! yeah fire me!! Val made out with some super awesome stuff though!!

After the Baby shower it was off the the Halloween party. So for Halloween this year we were Adam and Eve.... yeah and we took NO PICTURES... We are lame for that. So for our costumes we bought some fig leaves garlin things and pinned them to our clothes! it was great! so cleaver Brandon! We had so much fun!! it was a DAY fun filled with parties!!

In other News I got a New job!! and I am super excited! It's in the hospital and on the med/surg floor!! I did my first day with half orientation and the other half I was on the floor and I LOVED IT!! It will be a bit longer in my commute as my other job was 5 min away. But the knowledge and experiences I will learn there will be worth it! I love the staff and the facility!! I am just super excited about it all! Another exciting even that happened Is Brandon has started the Academy!! He LOVES IT!! but It just stinks with the location and the times he is gone! :( but so one day he forgot a very certain item that he NEEDED so we got to meet up in the glorious Benson... you may ask where is Benson.. I'm not really sure some where between "The Thing" and Vail... yeah AKA middle of nowhere!! So we ate at the happening place of Denny's next to a Super 8.... needless to say it was a good excuse to see each other again!

And because I'm a crazy dog lady. . . And my dog is a pansy... She loves wearing it by the way!

October Happenings!!

So this is just some of October... because as you know October is not yet Over!! but I am up and am wanting to document some fun things we've been up too. . .

We went Camping with a bunch of couples/friends that we don't see so much any more SO we had a blast spending time with them and FREEZING!! We went up on the Mount Graham and it was gorgeous!! we took our Keisha pup and she loved Every second of it!! We went to the lake up there and it was so pretty!!

FAIR DAY!! Yes of course we HAVE to go to the fair!! Some day I will enter something and win... but until that day comes I will just love going and checking out the rest of the awesome displays!! This Year we went and saw Hipno Joe!! So fun!!

I loved EVERY SECOND OF IT!! and she was so entertaining and has Disney magic!! here is 5 out of the 15 of us that went!! It was such a fun girls night out!!

And here the is lamest picture of out neighborhood party!! Well not so lame but I could have documented it better... So here is what we did!! We handed out flyer's to the neighbors telling them to come and bring a main, side, or dessert depending on what street they lived on, and then we had a pumpkin carving competition and ate yummy food!! We had a great turn out!! It was SO much fun getting to know our neighbors and having a good time with them!
