First 5K

Our hospital was having a health fair, and to kick it off they had a 5K run starting at the college! My friend Val B. invited me to walk with her do Braxton and I went!  I then invited Val Y. 8 months pregnant! We all finished and just about froze to death! Seriously it took me like 2 hours to warm up after! We had a blast!

Braxton did alright, he cried the last half mile, I think he was cold even though he was all bundled up!

Carl's Jr has come to the Gila Valley!! Here is our first time eating it here!! It was Delicious!

 My mom and Denise came up and they started this beauty and all I had to do was put it on something to hold it up!! But I am in LOVE, with it!!

 For the V-day we celebrated a few days early due to Brandon working that day. I gave him a shirt that says Happy

HAPPY 6 MONTHS!!

 Check out those teeth!!

We started solids well rice cereal at the begining of Janurary and he LOVED IT! We kind of took a break and started giving him solids on a more regular basis this last week, and he doesn't like it is so much, like he makes gaging noises and sounds like he is going to throw up, it is quiet funny, I think that he just needs some more practice!

So the last post Braxton had 2 teeth on the bottom, well now he has ALL 4 TOP teeth coming in! Yes all at the same time! He is doing pretty well with them so far, so we'll see! 

In other news Brandon and I exchanged Valintines gifts early and he surpirsed me with a Nikon D3100 camera!!! HELLO AWESOME!! I'm so excited! My old camera was slow and low mega pixel! Oh my goodness I am in love with this camera! I will just take a million more pictures now!

I gave Brandon a not so awesome gift but he still liked it, it's a Duck Dynasty shirt that says "Happy happy happy" We have been kind of obsessed with that show! If you haven't seen it yet you NEED too!

CUPCAKES

So ever since my little sisters wedding (which they served cupcakes instead of cake) I have been obsessed with CUPCAKES! I want to make them, eat them, decorate them! and In comes Pinterest!  Here are a few cupcakes I've made! I got the recipes from yourcupofcake.com

Cinnamon toast crunch cup cake!!

These are suppose to be raspberry chocolate, but I had no raspberry anything, so it's strawberry chocolate frosting, with a devils food cupcake, with strawberry jelly on the inside!

In other news I am a year older! Brandon got me my very first Ice cream cake! Yum!! We went out to Denny's for a free Grand Slam, and went to the temple with the youth to do Baptisms for the dead, went to eat at the Copper Steer, then had a party with neighbors and friends and had cake! a perfect birthday! Oh and my present is a trip to Tucson to see WICKED!!

With Braxton chewing everything I decided to make a taggie toy, and found these little owl type thing. I found it on pinterest and made my own little twist of it! Braxton LOVES IT!

4 MONTHS & 5 MONTHS

4 MONTHS
Braxton is so interactive! He does what  I call the "MIND BLOWN FACE" I have yet to catch it on camera, but his mouth drops, eye brows fly up, and eyes get big and his whole body leans forward and stares at whatever he is looking at! it is the cutest thing! He is inching around in small circles, and is grabbing EVERYTHING! It is so fun watching him try and figure out how to  make his little fingers and hands try do what his brain is wanting them to do. He is so stinkin fun!

 Here is Braxton and his cousin's Jet(11months) and Baby Ryan(8months), at Katie's Wedding dinner! All of them are born in the same year!

For Christmas he got a high chair and a few toys, but he loved most of all the wrapping paper and played in that for about 45 min! We love him more and more every day!

5 MONTHS
This happy boy is 5 months! he is in the 50th percential for height, weight, and head! He is now 
sitting up with out any help! 
Has one tooth with one on the way! ( bottom left tooth) 
Had his first ear infection
Rolls over from front to back
Scoots backwards on his stomach
Pushes himself into the push up position
Loves his walker
and Not sleeping threw the night!

While taking his 5 month pictures he rolled over from his front to the back! It was very exciting! Keisha wanted to be apart of the photos.

He is such a happy boy! His second tooth coming in has been a little rough on him though!


Just look at how cute this little angel is!

He is so ticklish! You can always get him on the ribs, and on his chunky legs!

BRANDON:

In January he graduated from the Police academy and has LOVED his new job! He loves to tell his work stories and always has good ones!We bought an Arctic cat and we have had some fun adventures exploring! 

HEATHER:

I quite the nursing home at the end of last year and shortly after got a job at Willcox's hospital and at Mt Graham. I have LOVED working at both of those places. But due to the distance and the LONG days I quit Willcox, and am currently working a couple days a month at Mt Graham. I have discovered sewing and am slightly obsessed with it!

BRAXTON:

Our biggest news this last year is BRAXTON! We found out the week before Christmas 2011 that we were pregnant, and our world has been changed for the better ever since! He was Born August 12, 2012! He has been such a joy and have learned a lot together! he is 4.5 months old now, and is rolling over and inching around. He loves his afghan blankets and Mickey Mouse Club House. He so smiley and is his fathers son! We LOVE him so much!

Keisha:

Can't forget about her, She has learned to jump our 6 foot fence! She is now an almost permanent indoor dog, She loves getting walks and is OBSESSED with her Kong ball. She secretly likes Braxton as we will catch her walking past Braxton and will give him a lick on the head.

Katie is MARRIED!!

On Saturday my little sister Katie got married to Adam Turner! She is the last of my 10 brothers and sisters to be married! It was such a great experience being in the temple with all of my brothers and sisters! 

It was super amazing and special! 

The rain stopped for them when they came out of the temple for the pictures, but started up again for her reception. Thank goodness the Wright House is mostly indoors. It was a great day regardless of the rain! Katie was a beautiful bride!

I just LOVE this picture! All these little girlies just admiring Katie, and wanting to hold her dress and flowers! So cute! CONGRATS KATIE AND ADAM, and welcome to the family Adam!! We know you will take care of our little Katie doll! And we are so excited for you guys to start this fun adventure!! You guys just now need to move closer! :)
